Where the readings come from
Greenhouse temperature comes from a sensor connected to a Shelly device beside one of the growing beds. It measures conditions at that location, not an average across the greenhouse. Outdoor temperature, outdoor humidity and UV index currently come from OpenWeatherMap, rather than instruments at the house. Our own weather station is under construction and is not yet in service.
How the readings reach this page
Home Assistant sends selected readings from the house to this website. The website stores its own copy; visitors do not connect to our home-control system.
The integration publishes selected measurements only. It provides no visitor controls for household devices.
Times and missing readings
Updates are normally sent every five minutes. Check the panel’s status when reading the values. The panel checks for updates every five minutes while this page is open. Measurement times are shown in UTC; delayed readings are labelled as not current.
A missing reading is not a measurement of zero. This page provides the latest available readings, without historical charts.
What we share
We share a small set of climate readings. Cameras, occupancy, locks, alarms and detailed household electricity-use traces are not included.
