Last Thursday, we travelled down to Gothenburg for a planning meeting with Naturhusgruppen. Fredrik, our architect, Niklas, our building-control coordinator, and Dan-Erik, the energy specialist, all took part.
There was a lot to discuss: the documents and detailed drawings needed for the technical consultation and the build, design questions to resolve, and questions for manufacturers and the municipality. A bespoke house involves decisions you might not have to make with a catalogue house. At the same time, working through all the possibilities is fun.
The main tasks are to prepare the documents for the municipal consultation and resolve questions with the house manufacturer, whom we plan to visit in July.
We hope the appeal against our planning permission is making its way through the County Administrative Board. I saw that some cases take more than a year! It is wonderful when legislation and resources do not match: anyone can appeal, but there is nobody with time to handle all the appeals.
