Excavation is in full swing! Thor-Björn is uncovering the bedrock so we can see what we are dealing with. It also gives us a head start if the digging is finished when the start notice arrives. Perhaps we can get some work done before winter.

As usual, there are surprises. The bedrock slopes more towards the south-east than we expected. A lot of material has been dug out, and a few loads may need to leave the site. The rock has deep grooves that hide plenty of soil. Its general slope is as expected, though, and should work well for the greenhouse beds. They may even be larger than we planned, which is no disadvantage.

After two days of digging, we are getting a clearer idea of the next steps. Some rock needs to be removed to put the service building at the right level, and a little more from beneath the house slab.
