The blasting is finished, and the site is mostly a great heap of rubble. It will be interesting to see what it looks like once we have dug some of it out. Blasted rock takes up an astonishing amount of space. Hopefully, much of it can go under the garage slab, which needs to be raised quite a way above ground level. Does anyone need some stone?

Today we had our technical consultation with the municipality. First, we visited the plot with architect Fredrik and Niklas, our structural designer and building-control coordinator. It was chilly, but we caught some of the month's very few hours of sunshine. The garage needs to move a little; otherwise, things look good.

The meeting went well. A few details in the paperwork need adjusting, but the start notice is close. 🙂 We still need more precise drawings from the house supplier, but those can be supplied by the municipality's first site inspection.
Next on the agenda: digging out the blasted rock.
